A NEW MEDIA DESIGNER & CREATIVE ALGORIST
I have a keen interest in the speculative prototyping of interfaces augmenting the everyday surfaces we interact with. I believe combining technology with our “natural” inclinations in seamless ways will help us redefine the boundaries of the possible. What awaits us are new experiences, unique forms of expression and surprising relationships with our environment through which 21st century humanity will shape its understanding of the world.
I began my professional training with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Apparel Design from The National Institute of Fashion & Technology (NIFT) where I learnt the nitty-gritties of garment construction & surface ornamentation - working with crafts like weaving, embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Afterwards, the Masters programme in New Media Design from The National Institute of Design (NID) introduced me to the world of electronics and creative coding. It was at NID that I began to put emerging technologies to work in an artistic and expressive context, whilst drawing on my fashion and apparel background.
NestAway is an online home rental marketplace for bachelors and families. It provides fully furnished and well-maintained rooms and flats for rent without any brokerage fee. My work includes designing the UX/UI of our product across all platforms to provide for a hassle-free experience for our users (both Tenants & Owners)
Brand Experience Designer (Internship)
I worked on creating & executing narratives for the Brand that will spread across the collateral. These were multidisciplinary collateral such as the website, blog, digital campaigns, ebooks, print collateral, space graphics, event experience, data visualization, Infographics, customer education material etc.
UX/UI Designer (Internship)
I was responsible for designing the product - a Telepresence Robot along with creating a persona for the same. I also designed the UX/UI of the Mobile App, the various Marketing & Branding Collaterals as well as animations of the Robot's face.
"Yahavi" is a start-up which I co-founded.
It's a platform for Artists to bridge the gap between Creating & Showcasing by Connecting with fans. At Yahavi, performing artists, organisers & fans come together to create events exploding with talent, mutual love, dynamism & synergy. Through Yahavi we have launched many artist albums in collaboration with the record label T-Series.

Export Division : I handled International buyers like Day Birger, DDP, E-Go, Alberta Ferriti, Jazmin Chebbar , P.J.K.
In-house Retail Brand 109F : Designed collection of 9 Garments for the DIVA Line, That was worn by 9 celebrities - models & TV actresses for their Fashion show, apart from from garments for their season collections as well as their new brand "Fusion Beats"
I designed 61 Woman's casual wear garment for Shopper's Stop exclusive brand "LIFE's" Spring/Summer 2010 collection as part of my Industry Internship while studying at NIFT.
